And I know that this version will far exceed all those hours, and as one of the first beta-testers of this game ever, I can promise that this game doesn't get old.So if you're considering buying it or not, I highly suggest that you do so, as the cost is well worth it, even if it cost a few times more than what it already does.. This game is seriously really good. It's not often these days that you get a game that's actually _hard_ for reasons of strategy/tactics. This one is. It's great. Pay 5 bucks for it.. I love this game! I've been playing for free on Kongregate for months and paid for the Steam version for the additional content. I've always been a fan of roguelikes and I love how active and dedicated the developer is with updates and then bugfixes, and then more bugfixes. Two days and three wins later (Ranger, Barbarian and Fire Mage, my Necro trick doesn't work anymore... no more army of skeletons.), I knew I needed to drop a review to let everyone know how awesome this is and how excited I get when I think about where this will be when it comes out of beta.. Excellent game, still in development and dev works diligently to put out new content every week.. Coming from someone who had never before played a roguelike (and liked it enough to keep playing), I think this is an excellent game, and it's only going to get better as it continues to develop. I got into it a few months ago back on Kongregate, then my roommate saw me playing and now he's hooked, too. The game has a certain charm that makes it so that, even when you lose, you may not want to play for a few hours, but the next day (or later the same day), you find yourself wanting to come back and try again. The game is set up so that, once you get really good, you can potentially finish many games in under 45 minutes. However, you can also take it very slow and carefully (as I do) to really think your way through tough situations. The game allows for such broad versatility in play styles and options (even within a given class) that, when combined with the dungeon generation, gives it a huge amount of replayability. And the music is great, too.The developer is commited to making the game the best that it can be, and takes into serious consideration player feedback and discussions.TL;DR: Excellent retro-style rogue-like with great music, great dev, huge versatility, huge replayability, and an addictive charm that makes you want to come back even after the most punishing of deaths.. Ever since discovering this neat little game on Itch, I must've put over 50 hours in it.A simple-looking, but incredibly deep and addicting game! If you want to explore some generated dungeons, this is one of the very best. I love this type of game and this one is pretty well done. Run around the dungeon, killing monsters, finding treasure, improving equipment, gaining levels. The whole nine yards. It's a challenge, I generally die when I get careless, but that's my problem. It just makes me more determined to get in there and finish it. An all-around great game!. After tons of hours with web version I finally decided to buy steam version. I'm sure it's really fair to pay for this gameand give it a try. I can't say enough good things about this game. If you like roguelikes and/or dungeon crawlers then this game is for you. The author has already done a ton of work on it since bringing it to Steam and I can't wait to see what his future updates bring. Thanks so much for making this game!!. Its alright for now.. Needs more content and races. Compared to DCSS, this doesnt really have a lot of races you can be.
